Hi Everyone! I know it’s has been awhile since I posted, life is just so busy. I will be posting a few new Christmas cards I made, hopefully daily!! I was so excited when my friend Joanna asked if she could post my card on her blog www.inspiredbystampin.com. She recently came up when her own line of beautiful stamps; she is so talented and I am so inspired by all her cards. The Peace and snowflake stamp on the tag come from her new set called Christmas Cheer. You can see this stamp set at www.inspiredbystamping.com/products/christmas-cheer.
I have had a few requests on how I made this card so here it is. The round candy came from Sizzix Textured Impressions Embossing Folders 2PK – Branches, Swirls & Ribbons Set. I ran embossed the folder with SU whisper white card stock. I then embossed again on another sheet, but this time I inked up candy part of the folder with SU craft real red ink, and cut out the candy section. I then used SU crystal effects all over the candies and dip it in SU dazzling diamonds and adhered it exactly over the candies on the first sheet I embossed. I also used Tim Holts ink, vintage photo to age the whole card. The christmas tree was spellbinders fanciful holiday cut out of SU old Olive card stock. The tree was adhered to Spellbinders Labels Thirteen, one cut with SU whisper white and the other SU crumb cake card stock.
